Specialisations have different admission requirements to other programs of study available in the Bachelor of Science (Honours). In order to undertake a Specialisation students must be admitted to the Specialisation program. The name of the specialisation will be on the transcript and parchment.An environmental scientist is a scientist who understands how the environment operates, has broad interdisciplinary knowledge in this field, can apply the scientific methods to explore problems of relevance to this discipline, is able to use analytical methods/computer software to analyse relevant data, and can contribute to an advance of knowledge in this discipline.
